This classic breakfast bread is a true holiday favorite. Moist and delicious it makes a great any time snack or a super Thanksgiving dinner bread.

It is super with coffee, and a traditional breakfast or brunch, or just excellent all by itself. Slice it thinly and add butter and it makes a wonderful Christmas Breakfast when the children are a bit too excited to really eat something.

The cranberries add just the right touch of tang to the sweetened orange bread . Try a loaf. Better yet, while the holiday are in sight, make a few. It freezes quite well and will last for several weeks in the freezer.

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups cranberries, chopped, fresh or thawed frozen
1 orange, juiced, and peel zested
