		<description>This is not a difficult concept. Speak from the heart make sure what you&#039;re asking is reasonable. Remove the phrase &quot;because I&#039;m the parent, that&#039;s why&quot; from your vocabulary. Don’t be condescending to your teen because teens, though their judgment is occasionally not so great because they didn’t think it through, your teen is most likely smarter than you give them credit for. Just because you don’t have all the details, don’t accuse them of being into hard drugs, being pregnant, etc. If you are open with them and are not so quick to judge, they will accept you better and come to you when they truly need your help. On the other hand, be a parent, not a pushover.</description>
