When you blow out the yolk the white comes out too, ie: you're left with an EMPTY shell. You decorate the shell - which will NOT rot - and you have a beautiful keepsake. There's nothing left to eat.
Also, if you PAINT your egg with acrylic paint, you should NOT eat the egg (ie: if you haven't blow it out), toxins from the pain will have leaked through the shell and into the egg.
If you want to eat the egg, use FOOD coloring (that's why they call it FOOD coloring)

Alice and Leah should not put a smiley face beside their names. I have seen many beautiful painted eggs . They do not smell and they can last for years.

We felt that this particular page was unbelievably stupid.
Who in their right mind would actually want to eat a boiled egg - bearing in mind eggs tend to be thought of as savoury - YOLK OR NO YOLK, with food colouring plastered on to it?!
What is wrong with you people?!
Why not just do the average and paint the shell?
Who wants to keep a boiled egg on the mantle piece? No one! Thats who!

It will rot and smell - like your face - No one likes a smelly mantle piece.
And no one likes you.
Thank you for your time - which by the way was WASTED in writing this crap.
Alice and Leah x :)
